London Fuggles update

Hi to you all, hope you are well! Thought I would update this blog as we haven't in years!! We have now been in London over 12 years living, working and worshipping in bermondsey during most of that time.  After having great teaching and fellowship with Steve Baker and Mark Jackson at Monnow road baptist church (MRBC) we now feel ready to move on and pastor a church ourselves!! The questions are where and when? MRBC is part of the Grace baptist association so we will be staying within that denomination.  Pete has filled in a profile about himself and beliefs which will be circulated around the other Grace Baptist churches.  He has preached at a few churches and has a few engagements coming up. We would really appreciate your prayers for wisdom to know the right church for us to pastor and for them to recognise and want us to join them and lead the church.  Elisha will be starting reception in September so we would really like to know before then where we will be living.  So that he does not have to begin his year and then restart in a new school.  Please be praying for the right timing too! Thank you for your prayers and support over these years please continue to pray for us and our future. God bless  Pete, Teresa,  Elisha & Malachi xxxx

The TV's Gone

At last I have joined the growing number of non-television watchers. It was difficult for the first month and i struggle with no match of the day on a Saturday night (although Teresa is quite happy about that!!!) I have found it quite liberating as my mind is now open to new things rather than controlled crap fed through the Coloured box in front of me. I realised this most recent when i was round a friends house and ended up watching Ten Pin Bowling Live on Sky - after ten minutes i suddenly realised that i was watching bowling not even playing bowling. I guess it is like watching fishing!!!

Anyway as sad as i am writing about this stuff hope everyone is ok i am off to Poland again Tomorrow and will update you when i am back

SUPERMAN RETURNS

Last week i went to my first film premiere. Although it was for the second rate superhero of Superman rather than a quality hero such as Batman it was fun nevertheless. I really went because i wanted to see Kevin Spacey and during the few hours standing outside of the Odeon Leicster Square i got to see different celebrities. Teresa was especially excited to see Mcfly!!

However near the end before all the people had to go inside Kevin Spacey came running out and went round the whole crowd signing autographs and i was able to get an autograph on a poster that i had just pulled off the barriers. It was all very exciting!!!

Anyway saw the film on Friday and thought it was good especially liked Lex Luther but was not that impressed with Lois. Anyway when you see i post a comment to say what you think especially of all the Christ like images.

What do I do now the World Cup is over???

Oh well so England Lost the World Cup does it come as any surprise after years of realising that England have some of the best players in the world but can't seem to pull it together for the major tournaments.

Well maybe at the Euro's in two years

I am a bit lost at present with no football on the television and with Cricket on Sky i am at a loss of what to watch and cannot bring myself down to the levels of watching a load of wannabe celebrities in an enclosed house so it is back to dvds of friends and Red Dwarf.
